TAKE ME HOME

By Gayle Shaw Cramer

I can be little or big

I can be furry or sleek

I cannot talk

Yet I can speak!!!

But I live in a shelter.

I’m loving

I’m playful

I’m pudgy or thin

I’m your very best friend

When your heart lets me in!!!

But I live in a shelter.

I’m loyal

I’m smart

I’m really quite funny

I’m worth millions of dollars

Yet cost little money!!!

But I live in a shelter

I’m orphaned

I’m lonely

I’m sad

I’m alone

Please choose me today

And take me home!!!
