New Youth Teams Volunteer Orientation 2/10/22

Become a Youth Teams Volunteer at LHS

The first step to becoming a volunteer with us at LHS, is to attend our New Volunteer Orientation.  At this orientation, you will learn about the history of LHS, our impact on the animals in Lake County.  You will also learn about cat body language and how to give TLC to our kitties safely.

We do limit orientations, so please only sign up if you will be able to attend.

Note: This orientation is only meant for Youth 10-15 and their parent/guardians who will be coming with them.  Youth teams must come together and stay with each other each time they come into the shelter to volunteer.

If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Volunteer Coordinator, Bryana Polen, at

This orientation IS on-site at Lake Humane Society.
